Kety Fusco

(electronic experimental harp music from San Bernardino, Switzerland)

Kety Fusco graduated in Classical Harp from the Conservatory in Italy at the age of 21 and after she devoted herself to electronic/ neoclassical compositional writing with her inseparable electric harp.

She was nominated for 3 categories (Electro- Dance Award / Best Emerging Talent Award / Creative Award) during the last SLT Awards- MUMA in Bern, and was invited to play her compositions at the prestigious hall of the Federal Parliament in Bern.

She also opened the Locarno Film Festival with an original transcription of the Swiss Anthem. Kety Fusco released her album DAZED in May 2020, in the middle of the global pandemic and despite the global live tour desruption, she was invited to perform a transcription from Morricone in one of the greatest Italian temples, the Arena di Verona.

She has collabs with some of the most inspiring musicians of the international electronic/ experimental scene such as Clap! Clap!, Lubomyr Melnyk, producer Aris Bassetti. Kety Fusco managed to play at the Isnello astronomical observatory in Sicily for Ypsigrock festival, at Locus Festival in Bari, Le Cannibale in Milan, Athens Music Week, Liverpool Sound City.

Kety Fusco was invited to play on the roof of the Civic Hospital of Lugano one of her compositions, to symbolically thank the social and health workers and she reached one of the most important milestones of her entire career in March 2021 when she was invited by the UNITED NATIONS to the SGD Global Festival of Action, sharing the virtual stage with two of her teenage idols: Patti Smith and Ben Harper.

Kety Fusco is working on a musical research concerning the harp instrument and taking part of her discoveries around prestigious festivals, such as the Montreux Jazz Festival, Waves Festival, Floating Notes Festival, Palp Festival, Label Suisse Festival, Mama Festival and and she will ride with her harp the stage of Eurosonic Festival in 2022.
